A man who claimed he dug up and cremated the body of missing teenager Natalee Holloway to help his murder suspect friend has himself been killed while attempting to kidnap a woman, police have revealed. The violent death of John Ludwick is the latest strange development in the hunt for Natalee, who was last seen getting into a car after leaving a nightclub at 1.30am on May 30 2005, the day she was due to fly home from a high school graduation trip to the Caribbean island of Aruba. Dutchman Joran van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the case, but has never been charged with Natalee’s murder or disappearance.
