Beijing Zoo’s world famous giant pandas refused to be upstaged when Melania Trump came to visit, with one cheekily ‘photobombing’ the First Lady. The 47-year-old former model met giant panda Gu Gu on her trip and got to learn about his nutrition and training. She was greeted by a group of school children who waved Chinese and American flags while singing a Chinese folk song at the panda enclosure. The pandas seemed to appreciate the song, with one of the animals appearing in the background as Melania posed for a photo with the children. She also signed a panda print during the visit, writing: “Thank you to the Beijing Zoo! Wonderful to meet Gu Gu! Melania was later taken on a tour of the Great Wall of China, where she spent around 30 minutes hiking a section of the famous fortification. A panda at Beijing Zoo Credit: AFP “This is beautiful. This is amazing,” she said of her visit. Meanwhile, Donald Trump headed to a summit in Vietnam after his state visit to China as part of his five-nation tour of Asia.
